The Heart of Art Grant is a NICart initiative created to support new and emerging artists seeking financial assistance to pursue a meaningful artistic project or creative vision.

At NICart, we believe art has the power to connect, heal, inspire, and strengthen communities. We also know that many artists have powerful ideas, stories, and projects waiting to be shared — but may need support to take the next step.

Through the Heart of Art Grant, we hope to provide selected artist(s) with financial support and encouragement as they continue developing their craft and bringing their work into the world.

Who Should Apply

This grant is open to new and emerging artists who are actively developing a creative project, body of work, or artistic vision.

Artists may work in a variety of disciplines, including visual art, performance, music, writing, design, multimedia, or other creative forms.

We welcome applicants who are passionate about their work and ready to share more about their artistic journey, goals, and the project they hope to bring to life.
